A really great coming of age story about Faith, a catholic school girl with an Italian father and Italian-in-name-only mother. Growing up in the Windsor, ON area in the '70's and '80's. Faith has 3 siblings (they are all 1 year apart from each other) and on her day of communion, there is a shift in her family that sets them all in a different direction from the one Faith thought they were following - devout Catholicism.
