"Josie and Jack" by Kelly Braffet

A slightly twisted coming-of-age novel about Josie and her old brother Jack. They are close. Very close. Nothing descriptive, but a very intriguing read. Their story is about growing up with an alcoholic/abusive father who is absent most of the time and their eventual escape to NYC.
