An excellent read about a family in the late 1940's. Written from the perspectives of the mother, daughter and mentally unstable son after the father commits suicide. Small town mid-western America. Sad & fascinating.
This author also wrote a book called Wasted which is a memoir on anorexia & bulimia. I haven't read it yet but am going to look for it.
