"Half a Life" by Darin Strauss

In his senior year of high school, Darin killed a girl. He was never blamed for the car accident, but facing such an event when his whole identity was essentially up for grabs, shaped him into someone who has lived with a ghost for half of his life.
Darin tells the story of the accident and events that followed. Although this book is interesting, it's pretty obvious that the author wrote this as a way to find healing from his extreme guilt. Which isn't a bad thing, just not a usual approach to a book.

Sounds like you're cruising your way through all of your library books! This one sounds interesting.
