Nell and her sister Eva live alone in the redwood forests of Northern California. Their parents have both died and they are isolated from the rest of society. Sickness and death have caused the world as they know it to crumble: groceries and gas are scarce. The electricity hasn't been on in months. The two teenaged sisters must work together to survive.
I quite like dystopian (I think that's the word) fiction, so this one was a hit for me. Enjoyed it.
