"Girls in Trucks" by Katie Crouch

Sarah Walters is a Southern Debutante attending cotillion training school with her 3 "Camellia" friends. The Camellias are the oldest debutante society in Charleston, and of course with that title comes status, and of course, expectations.

Another coming of age novel that takes one Sarah Walters out of her sister's shadow and places her in New York, which is a cold place for a Southern girl. Throughout her story are stories of her debutante sisters. Self esteem, love, relationships, and ultimately, finding yourself when you go home again.

Sounds like chic lit, but it's better than that! Very similar to "The Way to Somewhere"
