I read this book ages ago and have been meaning to post it!
Tells the story of a mother and daughter, who only speak to each other on birthdays and maybe Christmas ever since the father mysteriously died (or so they are told) in a plane crash years ago.
On the daughters birthday the mom calls but there is no answer, and no return call later in the week. Mom flies to daughter only to find that she too has disappeared.
Daughter, meanwhile, has taken off to a new life, a new city. Only problem is, there have been dead women about her age showing up all summer, and the real question is, will she be next, and does anyone know where she went?
A real page turner!

i never knew you liked books like this, erica! seems like a good read though. will add it to the list.
read it. i thought it would be more of a mystery novel, but it's not really. i enjoyed it. good ending.
