I really loved this novel. Kate is recovering from the death of her mother and the breakup from her boyfriend of 5 years, so she escapes to Ireland, a trip that she and her mother had been planning for years. But now she must go alone. Kate finds herself involved with the lace makers of Glenmara, a little village on the west coast of Ireland. Together, she and the other ladies begin making lace lingerie, and with it, a name for themselves and a way to support their families.
A really nice read. Very easy. Touched my heart.
