"The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold
This was recently made into a movie, which I haven't seen. The book is good, first half is more mystery/ghost story, second half is all ghost story. This story is narrated by Susie Salmon, murder victim, as she observes how her death has affected her family and friends, and how they keep living their lives. Eternally 14, she is almost more reluctant to let those she loves go than they are of letting her go. I felt this end of this book was very weird and somewhat weak. Overall a fair read.
