Michael Knowles is an OB-GYN, married to Annie, a journalist who teaches at a local college. When Michael begins to work at an abortion clinic, his family begins to receive threats from a pro-life "religious" group.
Simon Haas (no relation to Amy and Donny!!) is a famous painter who also teaches at the same college as Annie. His wife Lydia is mentally unstable, and the object of Simon's most famous paintings. She is also a member of the pro-life group who is threatening Michael and his family.
The story unfolds from there....a good read, a definite page turner. Well written and captivating.
