Beautifully written memoir of Liz and her life on the streets of NYC. Growing up with her sister Lisa and their drug-addicted parents, Liz overcomes her homelessness to finish high school and attend Harvard University. An excellent read.

You read too fast for me Leah!! I have just finished Graceling (loved it) and have Cutting for Stone waiting for me tonight. I also recently read The Help (had to purchase as lib did not have) and Midwives (also loved!). I think I fit maybe one other book in there...I will post it now!!
Have you heard of Shelfari? It's a virtual bookshelf. I have signed up, but haven't used it much. It's like social networking for books.
