"Dark Places" by Gillian Flynn
Libby is a 30 something orphan, having witnessed her older brother murder her 2 sisters and her mother as a child. Now she is running out of money and needs to get a job. But being wounded and victimized as a child, she does not have the capability to function properly. She begins to visit and speak at a "club" that is actively involved in solving her families' murder - many people don't think her brother is guilty. This isn't as dark and twisted as "Sharp Objects" and I enjoyed it more. Good twists, but her main characters annoy me as they are always ridiculous and unable to function normally.
