"A Most Uncommon Degree of Popularity" by Kathleen Gilles Seidel

This book is all about the troubles of upper-middle class Americans and their elementary and middle school aged kids. The story focuses on a mom and daughter duo - Lydia & Erin. The kid goes to private school and the life of the mom seems to revolve around the school and her daughter's social experience. Of course, when a new girl comes to the school (and a new mother), things get thrown off balance in this perfect little world.
Admittedly, this book is a bit dull, but I thought I would post in on here anyway.

I am pretty sure I've read this before, but I just checked the blog and it's not listed. Perhaps I too thought it was "OK to skip" and therefore didn't post it at all! I like the new category....:)
