"Mudbound" by Hillary Jordan

This novel is set in the 1940s, in rural Mississippi. Told from various perspectives, we follow the story of Henry, his wife Laura, their 2 daughters, Henry's racist father "Pappy", his younger brother Jamie, and Hap, Florence and their young son Ronsel, the black family who live and work on Henry's farm. "Mudbound" deals with racism and the trauma of WWII. I really enjoyed this book and thought it was well written and had a great ending!
