"The Devil in Pew Number Seven" by Rebecca Nichols Alonzo
I read this book while home in Killarney last week (thanks Deed). It is a true story about a pastor, his wife and children as they minister at a small church in North Carolina in the 70s. A vindictive man in the congregation makes life hell on earth for them as they change the way things have been done. The things he does to them is absolutely unreal. A very good read.
