This story follows several people in a suburb after a man dies and leaves his seat vacant on the Parish council. (He's like the mayor). The fallout of Barry's death is far reaching and touches all kinds of people in incredibly different ways. Parts of this story are quite humorous.
I really liked this read! Completely different from any other Rowling novel, but still really well written - no wasted words here!

I didn't know she had written anything! Will download it for my Kobo! Which I'm loving, by the way. Not having to go to the library to pick up holds/return books is so liberating!
